A Glittering Lunar New Year Celebration

This Chinese New Year, Bali’s most premium supermarket, Sereh Gourmet Supermarket at Samasta Lifestyle Village in Jimbaran is having a glimmering celebration and everyone is invited! Expect exciting cultural performances, special dining menus at Sereh Cafe, games, lucky draws and festive red and gold decorations up until Cap Goh Mei.

On 16 February 2018, visitors will be entertained by a Lion Dance and Dragon Dance performance accompanied by a band of musicians playing drums, cymbals, and gongs. Feast on delicious sweet treats including Moon Cakes, Dim Sum and the seasonal Nian Gao, or New Year Cake, also known as Kue Keranjang. Customers will be given empty Ang Pao packets to fill to be given to the Lion and Dragon Dance troupe for good luck and prosperity. These two exciting performances accompanied by festive music and delicious food, will definitely be the highlight of your Chinese New Year celebrations here in Bali!

Also available is a Special Chinese New Year set menu served at Sereh Café. Do try the Sereh Rice Bowl that comes in 6 different variations at only IDR 30,000 each plus a free strawberry iced tea! Beat the heat with a healthy & fresh fruit yoghurt drink including banana, mango, strawberry and melon flavours. Enjoy a delicious meal of Balinese, Indonesian and International favourites with entertainment all night long - Kizomba and Cuban Salsa Dances every Monday; an acoustic live band every Tuesday and Wednesday, live guitar performances by Ipeng every Thursday and every Sunday a live band that will make you want to get off your feet and dance!
