Desa Visesa Ubud Welcomes 3 New Ponies

As a reflection of the Tri Hita Karana philosophical concept, which brings the realm living of the spirit, the human relations and nature, Desa Visesa Ubud is pleased to welcome three new friendly ponies as the property’s newest family members. The ponies will be part of a new range of activities that are available for all guests staying at the resort. Families who would like to spend quality time together can enjoy a pony ride tour, pony camp and riding lessons for beginners while discovering the beautiful scenery and uniqueness of Desa Visesa Ubud’s natural surroundings.

The ponies are located near Warung Tani, an authentic Balinese Restaurant in the middle of a permaculture garden featuring great recipes and quality home cooking centred around the Bumbu or a traditional blend of spices referred to as Base Gede in Balinese. An array of activities are also available including animal feeding, animal caring, permaculture fun journey, compost making, organic plantation and even a kids playground for an enjoyable weekend with the family. The Warung Tani itself features an outdoor space that is great for social gatherings also known as “arisan”, outings, family holidays or workshops. Surrounding the area is the lush greenery of an organic garden, a tropical forest pathway, rice fields and the open air kids club which are all visible on pony ride to and from the ponies’ hut.

These activities are available daily from 9am – 6pm.
