Set on the southern coast of the island, KU DE TA’s idyllic tropical setting is an excuse to visit any time of the year. Surrounded by sunshine and unimpeded views of the ocean, KU DE TA’s elegantly designed space seamlessly transition into a lively backdrop for music, dancing, lounging and dining.

Since opening, KU DE TA has developed a vast array of dining choices and remains one of the most complete dining experiences in Bali. When dining at Mejekawi, KU DE TA’s latest outlet occupying its second floor, you will be able to enjoy gourmet 3-course and 11-course dinners featuring the freshest and most exquisite local produce from Bali.

Mejekawi’s restaurant kitchen takes center stage, while seating is placed around the glass wall to take advantage of the unimpeded ocean view. This will give you the chance to interact with the likes of Executive Chefs Ben Cross and Executive Pastry chef Nuño Garcia, who take their cooking very seriously, despite presenting a laid-back demeanor. Who knows, maybe you’ll even get the opportunity to enjoy a hands-on experience behind the bar!

As such, the right hand side section of the establishment was recently totally rebuild and redesigned in an upscale and contemporary fashion, perfect for small get-together with friends and loved ones while enjoying the ocean view in an intimate setting.

Designed by young Italian architect and designer, Alessandro Napoli used materials using aluminum, steel, glass, wood and tiles to emphasize the uniqueness of the space while ensuring that it integrates fully with the existing KU DE TA structure.

This new space is perfect for enjoying cocktails while grazing on some delicious light bites. Situated above the newly refurbished Fidel’s Bar, this space offers a modern concept space for eating, drinking and sunset communing. With a capacity for 80 seated pax and up to 250 standing, it features an air-conditioned bar and an exposed deck offering a tantalizing view of the sun as it settles in the Indian Ocean.

An elegantly designed staircase descends to the ground floor dining area and Fidel’s full service bar and a longer and wider communal deck dining area that stretches out to the beach, offering selections from KU DE TA’s ever-popular grazing menu.

So whether you’re there for a meal or casual cocktails, be sure to enjoy only the best at KU DE TA’s signature outlets in picturesque setting with sweeping views of the cerulean Indian Ocean that will take your breath away.
