Mejekawi’s restaurant kitchen takes center stage, while seating is placed around the glass wall to take advantage of the unimpeded ocean view. As such, the right hand side section of the establishment was recently totally rebuild and redesigned in an upscale and contemporary fashion, perfect for small get-together with friends and loved ones while enjoying the ocean view in an intimate setting.


Designed by young Italian architect and designer, Alessandro Napoli used materials using aluminum, steel, glass, wood and tiles to emphasize the uniqueness of the space while ensuring that it integrates fully with the existing KU DE TA structure. 


This new space is perfect for enjoying cocktails while grazing on some delicious light bites. Situated above the newly refurbished Fidel’s Bar, this space offers a modern concept space for eating, drinking and sunset communing. With a capacity for 80 seated pax and up to 250 standing, it features an air-conditioned bar and an exposed deck offering a tantalizing view of the sun as it settles in the Indian Ocean.  


An elegantly designed staircase descends to the ground floor dining area and Fidel’s full service bar and a longer and wider communal deck dining area that stretches out to the beach, offering selections from KU DE TA’s ever-popular grazing menu.
