Manisan Bali Welcomes New Head Chef

Chef Lambon (I Gusti Made Sukadana) has taken over the culinary reins of Manisan Bali as Head Chef. Passionate about honest food that is authentic and speaks to the senses, he is expected to put his own unique stamp on the menu of this elegant dining venue. “Cooking is my culture, it is a part of me – not just a job,” Chef Lambon explains. This appointment will enable Chef Siharta, Alaya Resort Ubud’s Executive Chef, to take a step back from the day-to-day kitchen operations. He will now have more time to focus on special culinary events for Manisan Bali and Petani. Experience the culturally-inspired food traditions of Indonesia’s vast archipelago from time-honoured family recipes to regional specialty dishes. Manisan’s new highlight is the chef’s own version of Crispy Pork Knuckle served with local Balinese vegetables in spiced coconut dressing, sambal matah and potato croquette, a new version of the Ubud delicacy.  Jl.
