New Meerkat Encounter at Bali Safari & Marine Park

The Bali Safari team has welcomed a cheerful mob of meerkats into its safari family. Originating from the plains of South Africa, meerkats are small mammals that are part of the mongoose family. An adult meerkat can grow to a foot tall and weigh no more than three pounds. It is dubbed a “small mammal” due to this. The new Meerkat Encounter at Bali Safari & Marine Park allows visitors to get up-close and personal with these delightful little mammals - the keeper will guide guests as they wander through the exhibit which also allows visitors to sit with and feed these curious and playful animals. The Meerkat Encounter is available every day at 09.30 and 14.00 at the Meerkat Exhibit located right next to the award-winning Tsavo Lion Restaurant and is priced at IDR 200,000 per slot, with a maximum of up to three people per slot. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Jl. Profesor Ida Bagus Mantra km 19.8, Gianyar Bali | Ph: +62 361 751 300 | www.balisafarimarinepark.com
