Real Good Chinese Food

There’s a reason why Happy Chappy Chinese is still Bali’s number 1 Chinese restaurant (according to thousands of happy diners who voted on TripAdvisor), a meal at Happy Chappy is an entire experience that starts the minute you walk through its beautiful Chinese gates into a very regal and slightly mysterious black, red and gold expansive interior. From its intricate finishing, red lanterns, Chinese ornaments and paintings to the massive statue of the happy Buddha at the foyer; everything works together to give you that one perfect dining experience.

In addition to its astonishingly varied and mouthwatering menu, Happy Chappy Chinese also hosts fun events and promotions throughout the week. Chappy Hour, the Happy Chappy version of Happy Hour, takes place at both its Seminyak and Berawa outlet every day from 5pm to 7pm with 2 for 1 promotions on selected cocktails, Bintang Beer & Radler and Classic Margarita. There’s BYO Night (Bring Your Own Wine) Night every Wednesday from 6pm, applicable with a minimum purchase of IDR 500,000 in a single receipt. The weekend fun begins with a Live Acoustic and Martini Night every Friday from 8pm to 11pm with 2 for 1 Martinis from 9pm to 11pm. And then of course, there is the All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum on Dim Sum Sundays happening every Sunday from 11am till 3pm at an unbelievable price of IDR 190,000++ per person for over 40 different types of fried and steamed Dim Sums, inclusive of free-flow Iced Tea or Hot Tea. After a hard night out on Saturday, you could relax, unwind and nurse your hangover at Happy Chappy Chinese with the Sunday Drink Specials offering a Bloody Mary at just IDR 120,000 and IDR 150,000, a Margarita for IDR 120,000 and a Red Sangria for IDR 120,000. If you’re in Canggu, drop by the Happy Chappy Express in Berawa, Canggu for a Lunch Combos Package, priced at just IDR 60,000++ with Iced Tea or Hot Tea. All this and more will soon be available at its newest outlet on Jl. Raya Ubud.

Speaking of which, Happy Chappy Chinese serves much more than just Dim Sum. Every dish here is soft, tender, crunchy, juicy and aromatic. There are endless favourites from the menu but our top picks are the Peking Duck with Crispy Skin, Kung Pao Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Salted Prawns in Egg Yolk, Shredded Beef Szechuan Style and the Seafood Fried Rice. There are Stir Fry, Steamed and Fried options as well as the most incredible seafood selection including large and meaty Papua Crabs or Kalimantan Crabs in the signature Singapore Chili style, Whole Steamed Garupa Tiao Chew style. Desserts will never fail; try the new Ice Cream Sandwiches or the Black & Red Velvet Frozen Cheesecake Pops, Chinese Doughnuts or the Ginger Jelly with Lemon Sorbet or just head to the Dragon Den’s Bar for Signature Cocktails.
