Shisha Sensations & Fine Dining Options

A warm and balmy afternoon or a cool, breezy evening at MÉTIS Restaurant, Lounge & Gallery promises to be an absolute treat. Whatever the time of day, you could come by to Bali’s most fashionable venue to sip, mingle and dine amidst beautiful people in a unique, sophisticated and elevated setting. Created for those who appreciate the beauty of art and nature with the artistry of fine food and drink, MÉTIS Bali is one of the very best restaurants on the island, with years of accolades under its belt and droves of happy customers revelling in the MÉTIS signature cuisine, mesmerizing décor and premier service.

Constantly evolving and always innovating, the extensive French-Mediterranean menu at MÉTIS Restaurant is Bali’s everlasting favourites with plenty of healthy, vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. This month, MÉTIS invites you to indulge in four new additions for an ever-enticing dining experience featuring an irresistible main and three tantalizing desserts. Part of this month’s Menu Highlights,  the Roasted Baby Chicken in Potato Nest is stuffed with Mushroom Duxelles accompanied by Soft Black Olive Polenta, Baby Vegetables and Forestiere Sauce. The entire dish is beautifully presented, the meat succulent, tender and well-seasoned with soft, aromatic vegetables to balance out the flavours. The luscious desserts were created to entice; each offering drastically different tastes but each with its own unique flavour highlights such as the Espresso Panna Cotta that comes with Chocolate Mendient, Coffee Sauce, Cacao Nibs and Coconut Jelly. A beautiful medley of chocolate, vanilla and caramel, the Duo Millefeuille is MÉTIS’s version of a chocolate crumble, with Cuvee Bali Chocolate, Vanilla Custard Cream and Caramel Sauce for a delicious balance of sweet and salty. The Rum Soufsouffle is an interesting creation using Baba Dough, Glazed Banana Raisin and Vanilla Banana Ice Cream. Adjoining to MÉTIS Restaurant is MÉTIS Lounge, a pulsating, quirky but sophisticated oasis for all soirées taking place in Bali. Here, cocktails and shisha are available all day, every day. In the tropical Balinese garden, you could relax to authentic premium Al Fakher and homemade tobacco for only IDR 180,000 per shisha. Flavours include Double Apple, Mint, Golden Candy, Guava, and White Grape while the beverage choices feature ‘stirred-and-shaken’ martinis, luscious vintages and newly-invented cocktails, shots, and premium spirit brands like Beluga Vodka and Patrón Tequila, while the bubbling options feature France’s most respected champagne like Dom Pérignon and Cristal.

Experiences at MÉTIS would vary, depending on your preferences and taste. Wine, dine and shine at the Wine Cellar under the exclusive attention of the attentive and excellent, highly-trained service team while surrounded by a beautifully designed interior, a rich ambience, brass accents, original artwork and wine-lined walls. Upstairs at MÉTIS is the Private Dining Room, an intimate enclave that’s perfect for 100 guests to luxuriate in among natural hardwood finishing, antique pieces and sparkling lights cast by captivating chandeliers and its own private bar and kitchen.
