Steak Nights at Cocoon Beach Club are quite the event. Taking place every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Cocoon Restaurant, meat lovers can dine on mouthwatering, tender and flavoursome quality imported beef from Australia in a wonderfully elegant, trendy and tropical setting. If you’re looking for the best quality beef that’s cooked to perfection and with great value for money, then don’t second guess it; almost everyone who has dined here is raving about the steaks, with many declaring that they have had their expectations well exceeded.

Bali’s hottest and most popular venue for epic parties, sexy sojourns, fabulous cocktails and sultry days and nights by the poolside is also a top destination for delicious dining and gourmet – there are plenty of exciting choices on the menu to suit meat lovers, vegetarians and pescetarians with a wide array of local food, international favourites or healthy selections. The experienced and talented Chefs here have made sure that meat lovers will get quality beef for the price, resulting in an impressive list of choices including the 200gm and 400gm Porterhouse, 250gm Tenderloin, 250gm Scotch Fillet, 450gm Rib Eye On Bone, 500gm T Bone and the magnificent 1kg Tomahawk Prime Rib that is great for sharing. Every beautifully presented plate comes with a garden salad and your choice of sauce. On the menu, there is the Béarnaise sauce, Dijon, Pepper, Mushroom & Red Wine Rosemary Jus, but you could also request the Yakiniku or Japanese BBQ Sauce, Mustard Sauce, Garlic Butter Sauce or anything else that might strike your fancy. A hearty steak meal is never complete without a hefty side so take your pick off the menu; there’s the Sautéed Wild Mushrooms cooked in garlic, lemon and thyme, a Mixed Leaf Salad with herbs and palm sugar dressing, Sautéed Broccoli, Hand Cut Chips, Beer Battered Fat Onion Rings and seasoned French Fries that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.


Our 250gm Scotch Fillet arrived marinated and seasoned just right with black pepper, salt and rosemary and cooked perfectly medium rare. Aromatic and succulent, each bite melted in our mouths, giving way to excellent flavours and textures. The secret, we were told, is 5 minutes on the chargrill before going into the oven – this seals in the heat and the seasoning. To complement our juicy, glistening and flavourful cut, we ordered a side of the fluffiest, creamiest and softest mash potatoes that we have ever had the good fortune to taste. This homemade mash potato is made with a good amount of cream, milk and butter and whisked by hand; definitely a must-try. A steak dinner is never complete without a glass of wine, and Cocoon Restaurant has partnered with Plaga Wine for a Red Wine Special on Steak Nights with a special price of IDR 50,000 per glass or IDR 250,000 per bottle!
