This year, Marriott International Hotels and Resorts in Bali together with Marriott International Business Council Bali present The Annual Charity Golf Day on the 24th June 2023 at the stunning Bali National Golf Club in Nusa Dua. More meaningful than a regular golf tournament, proceeds from this event will help to support Bali Children Foundation – a foundation that provides an educational pathway for disadvantaged Balinese children – a journey leading to growth and long-term sustainability.
With an impressive presence of 27 hotels in Bali, Marriott International is poised for further expansion, with an exciting pipeline of upcoming properties. Notably, the Marriott Business Council Bali stands as a beacon of support, actively engaging in local foundations and community projects, exemplifying their unwavering commitment to giving back to the communities in which they operate.
The hotels are thrilled to continue their support for this noble cause, alongside their partners, and aim to surpass the previous year’s target with the current goal to raise more than IDR 500,000,000, ensuring a brighter future for these deserving children.

About Bali Children Foundation
Starting in 2002, BCF has worked one village at a time to help poor, remote or disaster-impacted villages. After identifying a village with disadvantaged families, BCF local staff members work together with the village leaders to introduce families to BCF and the opportunities our scholarships and curriculum provided. In areas of disaster, such as in the village of Songan, which suffered severe landslides at the beginning of 2017, or in Lombok with the devastating earthquakes in August of 2018, BCF moves in to assist after disaster responses are finalized. BCF facilitates funds for our partner charities, which deliver health and dental care, disability management and environmental protection solutions during disasters, and afterwards, BCF awards Scholarships, English as a Foreign Language, S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), Calistung (Remedial reading, writing and numeracy), and tertiary education opportunities.
